Neymar has already named four Premier League clubs he would sign for

Neymar, a star for Paris Saint-Germain, has identified four Premier League teams as potential destinations should his anticipated departure from the Parc des Princes transpire this summer.

The 31-year-old Neymar is aiming to leave the Ligue 1 winners this summer after being singled out by some of their supporters, some of whom even demonstrated outside the forward’s home.

Even though PSG appears to be in line to win another league title at the end of the campaign, Christophe Galtier’s team will stutter to the title after performing below par in the French premier division.

Additionally, the Parisian team will wait another year to win the Champions League as Bayern Munich defeated them in the round of 16. They were also defeated 3-1 by Marseille in the French Cup round of 16 that month.

Neymar now seems to want to follow in the footsteps of his longtime comrade Lionel Messi, who is virtually surely leaving France this summer after his contract expires.

Le Parisien reports that the 31-year-old winger has altered his mind and will now want to leave the Parc des Princes this summer despite earlier insisting he is happy in Paris.

Neymar has previously been linked to a number of Premier League teams, with the most recent clubs being Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

The Brazilian has acknowledged that he would be tempted to transfer to England, but only if a small number of clubs made an approach.

The attacker commented, “The Premier League is a championship that amazes me,” while playing for Barcelona. “”I enjoy the teams and the playing style. Who knows, though? Yes, I would like to participate in it someday. I respect teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool because they never give up.

For Neymar personally, this season has been far from disappointing with 18 goals and 17 assists in 29 games for the Parisians, and every team in Europe is well aware of the Brazilian’s ability.

The world record transfer fee of £200 million that brought the attacker to PSG from Barcelona in 2017 still stands, but because Neymar is now 31 and still has two years left on his contract, a move outside of Paris wouldn’t cost anywhere near that much.

Although it presently appears that only Arsenal and Manchester United will be competing in the Champions League next season, a factor that would likely be a lure for Neymar, a move to any of the aforementioned four Premier League clubs will absolutely benefit each player.

The Brazilian would be reunited with former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea, where he appears likely to take over, while Liverpool might decide against a transfer because their aging team is one of their top summer priorities.

Neymar’s departure from Paris has the potential to be one of the major transfer stories of the next summer transfer window.
