Hearts of Oak's Benjamin Asare Shines on Ghana Debut in 5-0 Win Over Chad

Benjamin Asare, Accra Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper marks the start of his Black Stars career with a clean during the match Ghana trashed Chad by 5 goals to nothing.

Benjamin Asare has been incredibly great in the Ghana Premier League this season and that earn him his first call-up to the senior National team of Ghana.

He has shown great confidence and looks ready to be the number one goalkeeper for Ghana Black Stars in their upcoming games.

Asare was able to deal with the attacking threats from Chad, he was also the main commander at his key area making some meaningful interventions from both long and short set-pieces.

Benjamin Asare’s participation was a reward for his remarkable play at club level, where he has been a prominent performer for Hearts of Oak.

His call-up and subsequent debut demonstrate how local goalkeepers are becoming more confident.

As Ghana turns its focus to Monday’s match against Madagascar, Asare has made a strong case for additional playing time in the Black Stars lineup with this performance.

Ghana now top of Group I, two points clear and will be boosted by Friday’s results to claim victories in subsequent games.
