Cristiano Ronaldo is a fantastic footballer who has accomplished a great deal. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time. He has always made the right decisions, from the clubs he joins to his runs on and off the ball, but making mistakes as a footballer is almost unavoidable.
Ronaldo, who had moved to Manchester United from Lisbon, made one of the most important decisions in his career that year. He achieved a lot at Manchester United before deciding to join Real Madrid in 2008. This was yet another excellent football decision he made.
He also joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018, which was not a good move, but he accomplished a lot in Juventus as well.
Ronaldo’s biggest blunder was returning to Manchester United. Ronaldo will return to Manchester United for the second time in his career in 2021, and everything appears to be going wrong for the Portuguese international. This is the biggest mistake of his career, because joining Manchester United means he’s no longer competitive in football.
Players are always judged by their individual and team accomplishments, but Ronaldo has had no team accomplishments at Manchester United. Ronaldo’s Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League last season, which means he will play in the Europa League this season.
We all know that the UEFA Champions League is Ronaldo’s best competition; however, joining Manchester United has limited him to the Europa League rather than the Champions League.
Because he joined Manchester United and things are not going well, he is finding it really difficult to find another club. If Ronaldo had joined Manchester City, that would have been his best decision in his football career.
From Manchester United I do not see Cristiano Ronaldo finding any top club to play for in Europe. Joining Manchester United for me was a mistake from Cristiano Ronaldo.
