Sporting CP’s Manuel Ugarte to join PSG in the coming days
22-year old Manuel Ugarte of Sporting Lisbon has chosen to join PSG instead of Chelsea after the two European giants battle it out for his signature.
The Uruguayan who has been a standout player for Sporting CP was chased by a couple of elite clubs in Europe.
Ugarte has been in a blistering form throughout the season and is seen by many as the next big thing from Uruguay
It was reported earlier that Chelsea were struggling to meet the wage demands of the player.
It is understood that the player is already in Paris set for medical and will sign the contract very soon.
PSG will pay €60m to Sporting, Chelsea left the race 12 hours ago and Ugarte will join PSG as Campos closed the negotiation.
