Marcus Rashford will be wearing the Barcelona shirt next season. He’s already in Barcelona, and after passing his medical, his signing seems imminent. A club that has fought hard for him to regain his best form, which he has already shown at Camp Nou.

It was 2023. For many, it was the English winger’s best season since his arrival at the top flight.
He scored 30 goals and provided nine assists in a season in which he shone at Manchester United and became one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.

The Day Marcus Rashford Destroyed Barcelona At Camp Nou

Marcus Rashford and his clashes against Barcelona

Marcus Rashford has faced the Catalans on four occasions. Two of them were in the Champions League and two in the Europa League. It was in the competition where he performed the worst, losing both times.

The first time, at Old Trafford, he played 85 minutes , but his team ended up losing 1-0. That same season, in 18/19, he played the return leg at Camp Nou, where he was beaten 3-0 in the 75 minutes he was on the pitch .

But it wasn’t until the 2022/2023 season that Rashford fulfilled his dream of triumphing at Camp Nou and this happened in the 1st leg of the round of 32. The Blaugrana weren’t in great form and found themselves at their best, with Marcus creating danger every time he touched the ball. Marcos Alonso put the Spaniards ahead in the 50th minute, but the joy was short-lived.

Two minutes later, Rashford silenced the entire Barcelona stadium with a superb goal that tied the score. He received the ball in the box, and with great speed, he ran to the side, delivering a low, powerful shot.
Neither Christensen, in his stretch, nor Ter Stegen could do anything to stop the English shot, which had already had a few chances and
was driving the Catalans crazy.

Marcus Rashford became the protagonist again after receiving the short corner, Raphinha feinted, and he raced into the box, right on the line. With great skill, he placed the ball in the heart of the box, but unfortunately, Koundé ended up putting it in. Another key moment for his United, although Raphinha ended up equalizing. It was in the second leg that the English side secured their qualification, winning 2-1.

He wants to demonstrate his level of form once again at the Spotify Camp Nou, but this time with the fans behind him.
