Chelsea secured a 2-0 win over Fulham in a derby at Stamford Bridge. The game was interrupted by a controversial VAR decision after Fulham’s first goal was disallowed.
Fulham’s Josh King took the lead after finishing past Robert Sanchez, but the goal was unfortunately disallowed after minutes of VAR check. The VAR team claimed they spotted a foul by Rodrigo Muniz on Trevoh Chalobah in the buildup. The VAR decision got Fulham’s bench and players angry.

Chelsea started the game poorly, and as a result, Fulham had a very promising start, controlling the tempo of the match and even scoring the goal, which was later disallowed. In the last minutes of the first half injury time, Joao Pedri scored from a corner delivered by Enzo Fernandez.
Ryan Sessegnon’s handball in the penalty box gave Chelsea their second goal as Enzo Fernandez made no mistake in scoring from the spot and making the score 2-0, even though João Pedro appeared to handle the ball first.

Pedro heavily denied Fulham’s late goal attempt by clearing the ball off the line in stoppage time. Chelsea, meanwhile, managed the game effectively to seal their second Premier League win of the campaign.
