If you’ve been a football fan for whichever long period of time, you’ve probably heard of some of the Best Football Coaches. Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, and Carlo Ancelotti come to mind, but what contributions do they make to the game? Let us examine.

Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola is well-known for establishing high ball retention rates as well as a strong defensive line. His teams are notorious for closing down areas late in games. Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti, as a former player, has a unique understanding of the game and the people who play it. He is an excellent manager who understands the nuances as well as the psychological aspects of managing very good footballers. Ancelotti also has a lighthearted and friendly demeanor, which allows players to put their trust in him.

Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp is the manager of Premier League team Liverpool, and he is considered the best football coach in the world. He has transformed Liverpool into world champions. He is committed to a particular style of football, which has helped the Reds win three domestic titles in a row. Jurgen Klopp is also known as the “heavy metal” coach, due to his philosophy of pursuing opponents.

Vicente del Bosque

Vicente del Bosque is a Spanish football coach who has won the European Championship, the Champions League, the Intercontinental Cup and many other prestigious tournaments. His impressive resume includes several major titles with Spain and Real Madrid.

He is also one of the most underrated tacticians in football. The humble, soft-spoken coach is known for his diplomatic and measured approach to coaching.

Manuel Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini was formerly the manager of Malaga from 2010 to 2013. During his time at Malaga, he led the club to the 2014 Premier League title and two EFL Cups. His team also reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals twice.

In 2016, Pellegrini moved to the Chinese Super League to manage Hebei China Fortune. A year later, he returned to Europe and took charge of Real Betis. This year, Pellegrini became the club’s fourth-best manager.

Joe Paterno

In his career, Joe Paterno became the most successful college football coach in history. His teams won five undefeated seasons, two national championships, and 24 of 37 bowl games. He was a three-time Associated Press Coach of the Year and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Mauricio Pochettino

If you are a football fanatic, you have probably heard about Mauricio Pochettino. He is a former player and professional football manager. He was the head coach of the English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur from May 2014 to November 2019.

Mauricio was born in Murphy, Argentina, and went on to train with the likes of Jose Griffa and Marcelo Bielsa. He started his career at Newell’s Old Boys, where he played for six seasons. Afterwards, he moved on to play for Paris Saint-Germain and Espanyol.

During that time, he was part of two Copa Del Rey winning teams, and he represented Argentina 20 times, including at the Korea/Japan 2002 FIFA World Cup.

Ernesto Valverde

Ernesto Valverde Tejedor is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as a forward. He is the current manager of La Liga club Athletic Bilbao. Over ten seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 264 games and 68 goals, adding 55 matches and nine goals in Segunda División.

Diego Simeone

Diego Pablo Simeone González, nicknamed El Cholo, is an Argentine professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder; he has been the manager of Atlético Madrid since December 2011.

Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte Cavaliere OMRI is an Italian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

Zinedine Zidane

Zinedine Yazid Zidane, popularly known as Zizou, is a French professional football manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder. He most recently coached Spanish club Real Madrid and is one of the most successful coaches in the world.
