Medeama SC humiliate Kotoko at the TNA Park

On match day 29 of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC thrashed former African Champions Asante Kotoko 4-0 to go top of the Ghana Premier League table with two points ahead of regional rivals Bibiani Goldstars.

Midfielder Manuel Mantey who had already described the encounter with Asante Kotoko as crucial and a make-or-break gave the Yellow and Mauves the lead as his shot got deflected off Kotoko defender Henry Ansu.

Striker Kelvin Obeng scored to give the home team a two-goal lead in the 30th minute before Salim Adams formerly of Accra Hearts of Oak scored a brace to make it 4-0 for the Tarkwa-based club.

Medeama have now taken a two-point lead at the top of the table above Bibiani Goldstars and Accra Hearts of Oak.

Berekum Chelsea will be hosting Medeama at the Berekum Golden City Park on 19th April 2026.
