Viktor Gyökeres Scores First Arsenal Goal in Athletic Club Friendly
Viktor Gyökeres scored his first Arsenal career goal in a club friendly against Athletic Club. The Gunners signed Viktor to strengthen their squad ahead of their upcoming season.

Gyökeres joined the club from Sporting CP for a stunning fee of €63 million ($74m) and made his debut for the club in their 3-2 defeat to the Spanish side Villarreal.
Arsenal are now preparing for their big opening match against Manchester United on August 17 for the 2025-2026 season.
The Sweden forward was replaced after 70 minutes in the game against Athletic Club by Kai Havertz and received a standing ovation at the Emirates Stadium.
Viktor Einar Gyökeres was born on the 4th of June 1998. He is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Arsenal and the Sweden national team.
Gyökeres made his professional debut with Swedish side Brommapojkarna in 2015, making over fifty appearances before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018. He spent successive seasons on loan at St. Pauli, Swansea City and Coventry City, joining the latter permanently in 2021.
