FC Barcelona is on the verge of completing the registration of their new signing, Jules Kounde
Barcelona’s wait is almost over. Jules Kounde, who signed from Sevilla a long time ago, is nearly ready to be registered with LaLiga.
Barcelona’s wage bill has been reduced significantly by their recent departures, implying that Xavi Hernandez is close to being able to call on the defender’s services.
The departure of Samuel Umtiti to Serie A side Lecce allowed the club to free up some funds, and Pablo Torre is the next to depart from the Camp Nou. These transactions, along with the changes made to other people’s contracts, have put Kounde on the verge of being registered.
Kounde is currently the only unregistered Barcelona signing. Despite their difficulties, Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski are now registered with LaLiga.
“It bothers me not to have Kounde,” Xavi said after the win over Real Sociedad.
Now it seems like the coach’s wait is coming to an end.
